Default Re: More Chevelle updates

Success!

Now I need to figure out what trans mount this thing requires, acquire said trans mount, then see what I need to do to get the crossmember back in.

The shifter location appears to be spot-on.

Here's the new MW CM pinion yoke next to the OEM unit:

I tried to get the yokes swapped out so I could measure for the new driveshaft but I ran into a small snag--I need to get a new pinion nut to work with the MW yoke. The factory 1 1/4" nut is too big and the socket won't fit in the well of the yoke. I need to pick up an aftermarket 1 1/8" nut from Kammers this afternoon (hoping they have one in stock!)

More soon, but I'm off to get cleaned up. Rachel and I are finally taking a (partial) day for ourselves and we're going to Kil-Kare tonight to watch test & tune...if it doesn't rain.
