I believe the 35817 is the part number of the base plate. There is no date code on the carb.

I believe I am wrong. I was looking at a 7028212 that has no date code. Just the 7028212 and 2 letter plant code. But on the base is stamped 1628 which would be 162nd day of 1968. The date code on the one for sale has two many numbers for some reason or its not a date code.

To sweeten the deal I'm adding this carb for free, however; buyer must pay shipping for it. <span style="font-weight: bold">Not sure </span>but, if not mistaken it belongs to a 69 Cadillac.
