I agree with Marlin, not just because I have a BB SS '69, but I think "most" of the performance car world sees '69 as a pinnacle year!

1969 had:

ZL-1'S, A-12 Mopars (alum intakes), Sc Ranblers, BOSS Fords, Dodge Daytona's, SS AMX, 427 COPO cars and the list can go on.

Yes, 1970 had some high points as well, like LS-6's, but there just seemed to be the ora that '69 WAS the year for Muscle cars. I don't know, maybe the companies "heard" rumblings that was clamping down and just lost the drive???? I don't know, I was on 4 in 1970 LOL
