Default Re: NCRS Historical Document Services

Document Validation Service will verify paperwork and tie it to a specific car. If someone sends in a tank sticker and the VIN of their car it will validate that that document belongs to that VIN and it will validate the authenticity of the document. Remember, many build sheets have no VIN on them. We can tie a VIN to a readable document. Window stickers and shipper copies have VIN's on them, so the Document Validation Service will validate the paperwork.

For the owner of a rare Corvette that has a build sheet/tank sticker with no VIN, it is very helpful to confirm that that paperwork is tied to that vehicle.

It will not call out options on the car. The NCRS Origin report tells you where the car was delivered and the dates involved.
