Z16 Showcase at MCACN 2015 !!

I am happy to share MORE BIG MCACN 2015 NEWS !!

As usual, the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals (“MCACN”) show is planning to have a 50th anniversary display of significant muscle cars at their 2015 indoor show the weekend of November 21-22, 2015, in Rosemont, Illinois (just outside Chicago).

Of course, that would not be complete without a gathering of 1965 Z16 Chevelles -- THE ORIGIN OF THE BIG BLOCK CHEVELLE!

MCACN has asked me to run point on trying to get as many Z16 owners to bring their cars to the show as possible. Any real Z16 will be welcome – original, restored, old race cars, project cars (no matter how rough), and cars in mid-restoration. The more cars the better! (But No Clones!)

At this time we have firm commitments for <span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="text-decoration: underline">8 cars</span></span> (4 red and 4 yellow), plus &quot;almost firm&quot; commitments from owners of <span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="text-decoration: underline">2 black cars</span></span>!!

And we have another 9 cars (4 red, 1 yellow, and 4 black) whose owners are in the &quot;maybe&quot; category while trying to work out logistics to make it to the show!

Our goal is to have at least one of every possible exterior/interior color combination (that's 16 combo's) on display! That will be a tall order and pretty tough to pull off, but we're going to try to get as close as possible!

----As well, my good buddy, Wayne McCabe from Cape Cod. Wayne loved Z-16s and had both a red one and a black one. Both he restored basicly himself. RIP, Wayne! I miss you and our Carlisle adventures......Bill S
