I looked and the thread was on team camaro in November of 09 and the ends of the mufflers had a horrible crimp on them. Sounded like they changed suppliers.

I can only speak for the 70 Chevelle system but they have made several changes over the years. Correct tail pipe hangers and part number stamped resonators. I am also able to buy their hangers in bare steel instead of zinc for a more correct look.

The rear hangers for the Chambered system were not correct when I bought the system 2 years ago.
I offered to send my original hangers to Eric when ordering so I could be assured they were correct, I was assured every part was exactly right.
After receiving the system I questioned the deviation & was told it would cost an extra $50 to make them correct. to which I replied: I spent close to 2k on an exhaust system do you think I care if it costs an extra $50 or even an extra $200 to have it right?

Here are photos of the hanger discrepancies (missing the semi circular rubber wedge) so at least you can ask as I believe the rear hangers are the same for regular dual and Chambered.

This is the proper end crimping on NC8 pipes, the front intermediate pipes have the same crimped ends.
The deep crimpings are also seen on the center crimps.
These are 27 year old C&C reproductions done from original GM pipes & blue prints.
I believe the current value of such sets range in the $3,000-$4,000 area.

The Gardner pipes Do Not have the end crimpings nor the Deep 4 pronged crimps on any of there pipes.
IMO ,the Gardner Chambered exh. looks Quite generic and a low level attempt.

Another source is to look at any of your ERTL 1/18 Diecast 69 Camaros....look at the pipes.
MONOGRAM MODELS in the 80,s used GM Blueprints & 3 Original NC8 CARS to scale there 1/25 scale 69 Z/28 ,YENKO, PACE CAR & Baldwin-Motion models to exacting standards.

Bill - elaborate a little on your issue?? [/quote]

Eddie,
there's an issue with the NC8 Systems they make as well.
The accuraracy and manufacturing process.
I posted some pics for evaluation.
