I think the silver Z without the stripes is truely unique. Dont ever restore the orange one. I would at some point like to know, what is the earliest date a ZL2 hood was found on a camaro. To date Dave's highly documented Orange LA Z28 is the earliest documented car with the ZL2 option. I believe the paperwork on the ZL2 option arrived at the dealerships in late Nov and it was previously thought that the first Z28 to get the option would have been in January. The period of time from the time ZL2 became an option til the time the ZL1's were built was thought to have been insufficient to order and build a car.
