First obliterate the previous mark and then correct. I have seen engine blocks where the stamping was corrected in this way. Not pretty but that is the way it was. Thanks for posting. |

Here's a better pic. It is not an 'anomaly', IMO.
If the collective wants, I will stop giving opinions on stamps. It's low pay anyway....
