rick is correct - resto's on these car can go from 125K to 200K depending on what you need.....add that to a substantial initial investment, plus the time to work thru a resto - and you have to wonder why we do it.....
IT is the outcome we are after mostly, not the final value - if the value works out it is a bonus..... If you have not been thru the process - you don't really understand If you can do it cheaper - then the value is cheaper unless your italian like mike angelo and he does all his own work at an amazing quality....he is one of a few.
