Rick Dyer and Danny Scott were two of the heavy hitters at the first NMCA Fastest Street Car race in Memphis. Rick drove this yellow 69 and Danny had the light blue 67 mentioned above. After the Camaro Rick bought Monte Berney's 55 Bel Air from California, which he wrecked and then rebuilt. The last I knew the 55 was in a collection in FL. He then built a purple 62 Bel Air that he sold to Tony Valente. The last car I remember him racing was a blown and injected black with flames 69 Camaro that he wrecked. The wreck revealed some illegalities and the end of his participation in the Fastest Street Car scene.

Tom, was your 65 Corvette coupe black? I think I saw it at several Super Chevy events in the late 90's.

The black Camaro was purchased from Spiro Pappas, correct? I recall some people questioning under whose ownership the "illegalities" came to be installed on the car.
