The car was 20 minutes from skip in the same town where he's at. I heard about this car back at Sls in Carlisle.

Assuming this car stayed in the same area for it's entire life, the rear bumper still had an “Emrich” sticker on it, a reference to the original selling dealer, Emrich Chevrolet in Manchester, Pennsylvania. This is located in York County, Pa.

Like I said earlier this car was in his neck of the woods.

To me it makes no sense to compare these time capsules, they stand tall and on their own. Each car has a story to tell, and provides the hobby vital build and assembly information that enthusiast and restorer can apply.

The original owner of this car was meticulous, and saved just about everything he replaced, which is why this car is so well preserved and complete. It couldn't have gone to a better caretaker, and Skip will share and show this time capsule with all of us. The Vintage Certification team will be looking this car over in 2015...and I can't wait!
