Come to think about it. Growing up as teenager in the mid sixties, many bench seat cars didn't have headrests. As for "Original owner wanted it that way so he could put his arm around his girl"... Sounds right to me. Then buckets came along which put distance between you and your date or spouse. Today, we are further distanced from our mates as a result of the cell phone. Just look at couples in restaurants or even at home. Killer Chevelle. I thought for a moment that I was going to have to press my "help I've fallen button"
