I spent a couple of days last week doing some engine bay clean up that was long overdue. I started with a good pressure wash of the bay and front end to rid it of some nasties from the repaint and also the build up of a few years of driving, both here and in Washington state, where the car came from. Made a pretty decent difference. I then pulled the exhaust manifolds, blasted them with the new cabinet I bought, painted them with cast iron VHT paint, replaced the donuts and refitted. I also pulled the power steering lines and replaced them with new pieces and bled the system. Pretty straight forward process.
![]() I now have myself a new helper too! ![]() One blasted, one to go. ![]() Manifolds painted and back in place, lines replaced. ![]() Good help, hard to find! This week I'm moving on to the new booster and master set up I have from Brake Boosters.
