Winders Chevrolet was at the Corner of N. High St and Hubbard ave in Columbus from 1924 until the seventies(year it sold is unclear and still checking resources) when it sold to Bobby Layman Chevy which is now on W. Broad St. When Layman took over, he was known as the "Super Price Smasher" because he would take a new Corvette and smash the windshield with a sledge hammer and say "we're smashing high prices of new Chevrolets". You will like this, I was recently going to a house to buy some cabinets the was scheduled to be knocked down and I happened to go into the basement and found this full size newspaper ad from Herman Wines 45th anniversary sale. It is dated Nov. 15 1968. Needless to say I snagged it.

Enjoy!
