I believe that my 1967 Camaro was a zone car. The protecto plate has the first owners name on it with a delivery date of 9-29-66 (the first day Camaro's went on sale).
The warranty booklet has the Chevrolet Dealer listed as CHEVROLET CENTRAL OFFICE, with a ED Rinke Chevrolet listed at the bottom. It looks like the warranty started right away based on the dates in the warranty booklet. The Camaro was returned to the Ed Rinke Chevrolet dealership and sold in November 1968. |

Was there a warranty when the first owner bought it from rinke or was the warranty for the person in the zone office? Do you think that when the car was built that it was already known that rinke was gonna be the 2nd owner?
