![]() .... I want to thank you for going thru the trouble to bring these great cars out to this event and share them with the public. This event will bring out cars and car guys like you will never see no matter how long you search for cars. Each of us have our own taste in cars and this brings us all together. Great new look to the Nova |

Absolutely DO NOT dig the Thrush pipes!

That's because they are too short for the car. They should go all the way back to the end of the rocker. Hurst wheels belong on Pontiacs only in my opinion. Honestly should have left that baby alone.

I love the Hurst wheels! I don't know if this is a Hurst car or not? The orange deuce I had that Mark Hasset now owns was a Hurst converted car. I always wanted to put those on that car, but a real vintage set was very very pricey. The repops weren't out at the time I owned it. Marks car looks awesome with them on it. I know at that time a mint set was 10-12k!

This is not a "Hurst" converted Deuce. I think the Hurst cars were all the "Spring" colors (DY, HO, CG).
My old Deuce looks KILLER Scott! Nicely put together - a real head turner. Sure to get some great buzz at the preeminent car show of car shows..............MCACN!!

Sam, pretty sure there were 50 or so that went to Hurst. In fact, a Fathom Blue one I owned was.371006. I have the shipping manifest that says " Yenko rig-from Hurst Ferndale MI.

Dave - I defer to you (and Marlin, when he checks in).

Not being critical - I just have a serious question:
Weren't Hurst wheels "done" long before 1970? I guess I always thought of them as a short-lived design that was only available and popular from about 1965-1968. I figured they were no longer "cool" by the time a '70 Deuce would have left the showroom. Am I wrong? |

Like the sidepipes, never been a fan of the Hurst Mags, but I appreciate that you're doing your own thing, and isn't that what Hot Rods and Street Machines were all about?
Rock on, cheers.
