Ed,
The correct bolt or the norm for your Z28 should be a non shouldered bolt "RSC" head marking and I believe there was also a "E" head marking bolt. The shouldered bolt that your referencing are usally seen on Chevelles from my experience and even the bracket is different than the Camaro 12 bolt bracket.
