Default Re: 1967-69 Camaro NOS Rear Sway Bar - Wanted

Years ago, I took a factory rear sway bar off an early firebird. I know it was factory because it had 2 u-bolts with the ends extending thru the frame rails. They must have been inserted before the rails were attached to the floor. I dont remember what year bird it was. I believe it was a 68 H/O model if I recall, but don't quote me... The yard had a handful of birds there that day. I put it on my 69 Camaro.

The mounting is definitely different than the weld-on type brackets Ive seen in Jerry M.s book.

Was that the same part?? May be an option for you. The only NOS bar Ive ever seen was from the book (which was owned by Frank D).... maybe try HBC as he did buy a lot of Frank's collection I believe.
