I have pretty much given up on the car show scene...especially if it involves a long travel time to get there. We have one local ice cream/snack shop [O'Kennys] that probably does the best job of all of them. The people are friendly and fun to be around. The parking is first come first serve...they do a wagon ride for the kids...the guy has a mini car museum and the food is fast and good.
My only real complaint about car shows is the endless stream of show flyers that folks try to put on or in your ride. These should be handed out collectively to each entrant as they arrive...this is the professional and considerate way to spread the word. Having your 9 year old run from car to car with a handful of photo copy flyers is just not acceptable. Wilma ![]()
