I had posted photos on the CRG regarding the front glass.
Until seeing this I had assumed all were Libby Owens Ford LOF or Pittsburg Plate Glass PPG.

KurtS said it wouldn't have been installed in the plant.
Steve Shauger asked if it had the original seal, which it did, however after answering his question I never heard anything else regarding the possibility of it being assembly line installed.

I suspected it was original given there was not a DOT mark and it was installed with the original seal.

The question is why was this glass used?


Anyone else have a NON DOT coded Shat-R-Proof glass installed with the original cloth type seal?
