The original 54 66 w 30.cars were factory built with specific rear axle assembly's cams, valve springs,
Three carb manifold .directionals were moved to different locations in front bumper to fit air scoops
Also core support and inner fender wells were cut out for hose routing and scoop placement.
To feed air to the special chrome air cleaner that went on to the three carbs.
Battery was placed in trunk ... Their is probibly other changes as well.
Their were other cars converted with over the counter parts as well ( a friend owned one)
