Kurt, that is a good deal for those heads [last pair I bought was $200/ea]. [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/biggthumpup.gif[/img]

The 290 castings are a great platform to build with. The combustion chamber is kind of a "semi-open chamber"...those heads with a set of 2.19/1.88 valves, some mild porting and blending and a good performance valve job can really perform.
