Sorry I couldn't have been more help, but as you said, I'm into the earlier years and I don't think this item is from those years. The GM logo makes it '64 or later, since all the plants were converted to GMAD after then.
It's an interesting piece that was obviously used at the dealer for some sort of application to the paint surface. It even has a blank where someone was to write a date when "it" was applied.

As you can see, this '64 tag from a late March St. Louis car already has eliminated any reference to Chevrolet and the Magic Mirror logo is gone.
