Just a quick question. I pulled my big block and 4 speed out of my 69 nova ss last weekend. The trans case # is 3885010, the small metal tag # is 9784425. I tried to search it on internet and came up with 1967 rally sport camaro 275 horse m20 12 bolt rear. Can anyone verify thats what its out of?

The 3885010 main case was used in the 1966-67 model years, and that tag numbers was used in a lot of M-20 applications...
Is there a VIN stamp, that would tell the assembly plant??? What is the casting number of the tail housing??? Crash |

The VIN is out of a 1967 Chevelle/El Camino built in Baltimore.

If they built Pontiac A-bodies in Baltimore, that would explain the 429 driver side speedo tail housing...
Hope this helps... Crash |
