Question: I was wondering about the original ownership of the blue 'vert. Why is the original owner of the car such a secret? "famous cartoonist?" I guess he's still alive and doesn't want to be known?
In any event, anyone know the original location of puchase? Just curious.... |

He definitely seemed like it was a difficult decision to sell.

And the L88 went back home. In the past his collection has grown, and when a car was sold it was replaced by a rarer version. Not sure if this is the beginning of the liquidation of the collection or not.

Wonder if Kevin did drop his reserve @ the $3,350,000 mark,if it would've begun a lil more bidding frenzy & he might have gotten even more for it..

Congratulations Kevin. An awesome caretaker for a time and hopefully going to another good caretaker.
