Default Re: 69 camaro repro doors

i say good luck... although I have used repro front end sheetmetal and floors, trunks, etc. in the past, I have not used the doors yet, but from my experience, the repro parts fit better w/ the other repro parts than w/ GM parts...for example, I had a repro 69 console shift plate that did not fit in a 69 GM console..it was 1/8"too long...but it fit perfect in a repro console... and the body line on a 69 door has to be perfect to match the fender line correctly. Don't get me wrong, because anything can be made to look perfect with some body work...but I suspect the reason to get new doors is to mimimize bodywork.

Bottom line, Unless someone else has had good expeience with the repro doors, I personally would try my best to find good GM doors..

...just my opinion...
