Default Re: Determining original bbc pulleys from aftermarket

My experience: The 291 crank pulley has a very light stamped #, the 824 W.P. pulley has bumps around the projected part of the snout where the pressed inner re-enforcement distorted the snout, the 1105 has a lip on outer front edge that you can catch a finger nail on, the 458 has a crescent shaped indention around the part # from the stamp. While these are not exactly fail safe, it is a good start of uniqueness of each. Plenty of pics out there to compare.
