![]() Oh sorry, you were looking for the truth. Seems like Jerry chose his words carefully noting the 09694 also referencing the engine as OEM and nothing about #62? Running a whole '69 Coupe VIN w/ the 09694 sequence and #'s 1 through 9 as the missing sixth digit both at the beginning and end of the sequence seems to lead nowhere? Strange enough, a 6 at the beginning of the 09694 ends up close to and only 4 digits off Mac's Chev ZL1 # 609690? Best ask Jerry or better yet the guy w/ the real #62 car and see where things ended up when he was considering purchasing the engine or clone car to get the supposed original #62 lump?
