Good luck, but I don't see that happening anytime soon. States like California, New York, Mass, Maryland, Illinois are not going to recognize others states licenses anytime soon. Given that, I choose to stay out of those states and spend my money elsewhere, unless there is no way I can avoid them and that would be only to pass through.

Things are starting to get interesting in New York and soon Connecticut that are starting to demand registration.

Don't forget New Jersey. They're pretty tough here. Its even hard to bring your gun to the range. If you stop for gas or food after or before with your gun in the car, that's breaking the law.
