I remember it well. I worked on and drove a 71 GS 455 stage 1 car and they are really quick. It is hard for the Mopar folks to believe there beloved Hemi got beat. But believe it. There are cars and engines that are a lot of hype. I have a first gen Z28 and know they are "remembered" to be greater than they really are. Numbers separate fact from fiction. That also sparked the 50 fastest list and the ringers. That helped push our car hobby/ addiction and helped legitimize it.
