My info from Eric White's GTO book shows it to be one of three available for the GTO. The one you show is the early version. Whether it's the one that is supposed to go with Ram Air cars, I dunno.

69 Pontiacs used at least two different water pumps. One had a hub height of 4 15/32, the other had a hub height of 3 31/32. No doubt there was a different set of pulleys depending on which pump was used. It's been a long time since I bought my 69 428 Catalina (mid 69), but I believe the reason for the change was because Pontiac improved the water pump with a larger bearing and changed the overall height at the same time.
