Just my experience Sam, but I have to disagree. Even in the early 1990s when I was looking for my first car, most of the 1st gen X33/X66 Camaros already had small blocks or incorrect 454s. The fact that this thing has survived in a late-70s time warp with the original motor is pretty amazing IMO. We're talking 35-ish untouched years.
