I couldn't believe he was operating the cutting tools with SHORTS ON!!!! They could have hacked up a junk yard car with all the mods they did.

I watch the show quite often and they are not "butchers" as you've called them. Are they treating the car as you might want them to; maybe not but, not everyone has the same vision for their cars.
The guy doing the work is Jared Zimmerman and I am almost certain that he used to work for Troy Trepanier. Lou Santiago is also not a hack and knows his stuff; I think we just need to realize that not everyone wants a cookie cutter Camaro. Sure they are modifying a nice clean car but, isn't that something everyone would prefer to start off with? I mean come on; it's not like they're modifying a Z28 or L78 SS for God's sake.
