I had a 11" Borg Warner Brute Force clutch in my BB 427 Nova and had really good luck with it. It was very similar to my Hays Street Strip that's in my Chevelle now. No chatter and it hooks at any rpm. It is a little heavier on the foot than stock but will out perform a stock clutch every time.
