I had an NOS mechanical Stewart Warner converted by Classic Insturments to electronic to use in my 67 Nova. I like the way it looks and sure seems to be accurate. In hindsight, it was not too smart.............I had north of $400 invested in it. I can post a pics if you like.

I never had a performance car back in the day to put a tach on, but I remember looking at and dreaming about a Sun tach. I think they had a "Mario Andretti" endorsed and model tach which is what I would have bought if I had a car to put it on. I don't know about the quality of re-pop's as compared to original, just saying that if I was looking for a tach now it would definitely be a Sun, preferably an original.
