i thought the same...then changed my mind, thinking 81 Z 28..i think the lid is not right to the base

the ring for the seal is a little diff than vette i think..i think Z because the way the seal is folded up..for some reason, i think ive seen orig seals look like that..

but i doubt myself for some reason..just not sure

That base is for a Rochester carb. Looks like a 70-72 Corvette or 73 Z28. I think someone added the lid and the seal and this should have the full size lid 17" I think.
