Are u sure it wasn't G78? I've never seen a 77 series. I have some g78' s and g70's

There was a G77X14 tire size on 1968 GTO only. They were Uniroyal brand 'Fastrak' series. I had a few GTO's in 1970's with the tires still on car or as spares. I had a n.o.s. set in early '80s I sold to a guy with a '68 RamAir cvt.

Here is my friends 1968 GTO original spare tire that is a G77 red line upside down in the trunk. If you look close to the bead at about 10:00...you can read G77.

Thanks for responses and the pics. I feel better now. When GTO DON hasn't heard of your special GTO old tire, you really know its an obscure piece! [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/smile.gif[/img] If anyone can post a picture of the front showing the redline detail, and a good closeup of the size someday, I'd appreciate it.
