Yep...Was my first love for going REAL fast. I'll have to dig up pic of my 78 Monza. It had a 440/727 combo in it. I cut the cowl and fire wall out of it to make it fit......It would pull the wheels. I'm lucky not to have died in that contraption... [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/naughty.gif[/img]

This car had 13" ET slicks, and a 2.73 Limited Slip rear...The 440 was a low HP out of a 70's Gran Fury...Loads of torque. The frame was tied, a cheap cage ..and by the grace of GOD passed tech at Norwalk and Dragway 42.....I eventually blew the trans and rear in one shot at NRP. Here's a couple of pics...Most of what I have left is on VHS....RIP BIG |
