Its weird that they come with a cap for you can't even see it. Usaully these caps are to prevent injury, but where the horn is located on a Nova you can't get scratched or cut by the end of the pointed bolt. </div></div>
Dave, I believe in this case it is more to protect the wires that run behind the horn than fingers.
