The article in the June 2010 issue of Muscle Car Review written by Bob McClurg and titled "The Gold Standard" talks about an Olympic Gold 1969 Yenko Camaro demonstrator (#9323) that was once used by Melvin "Mel" Bogus when he served as Yenko Sportscar sales manager. Mel was interviewed for the article and in it he states that "I drove 9323 to the races, particularly at Mid America Raceways, in Wentzville, Missouri, where the Yenko was used as a pace car on several occasions." I have been looking for images from 1969 to back up this quote since the article came out and have had no luck. Does anyone have any more info or a possible photograph of the Yenko Camaro pacing a race at the Mid America Raceways road course? Thanks
