I got to visit 028 yesterday. It was purchased from the original owner. I think it may be the only one still sporting almost all of its original paint.

Quick, easy to follow account of how the 428CJ program was inspired and subsequently developed, how the 135 cars came to be, and some good photos documenting why the Wimbledon White 135 cars are so iconic to some of us-Ford's 8 car assault at the 1968 WInternationals. It was really a seismic shift in Ford's presence in the drag and hot street scenes of the late '60s.
