----Also, little known would be the lack of a hole on the drivers side firewall for the ballast resistor, as there isnt a Ballast resistor on a TI equipped car, and every 435 was TI equipped. Any one of the above mentioned items is a first step. If you are unsure of anything, get qualified help!!! You will never regret the money spent to hire the right guy to check your "find" out. Tachometers and oil pressure guages can be switched out easily, but there are ways to tell if they have been changed that I wont divulge on the internet. Stampings and broach marks are harder for the untrained eye to catch (even the trained eye these days). Dont be macho and think you can figure it out. You will probably loose.......Bill S

And unfortunately all of the above could have been changed or modified, which leaves you with only the tank sticker [real one] as being proof positive .
