These are great cars, very uncommon. I had one go through my hands 10 or 15 years ago. A red on black R-code LTD 2 door hardtop, which is a real odd pairing of luxury and performance. It was in Renton, WA and I helped get it to a collector named Dennis Lempicki in Wisconsin. Dennis had a bunch of 60's performance Galaxies. He died somewhat suddenly and all the cars were sold in an estate auction. The unrestored LTD-R code was sold and I've not seen or heard of it since. If anyone has info on this car's whereabouts, I'd love to hear about it. (I'm not that excited about being old enough now to have a list of "the ones that got away", lol)
