are you saying there were 51 built not 50 of the COPO 9738 Chevy II? any documentation or is it just hearsay? A lot of documentation shows 50 built including a letter to NHRA from Chevy's Paul Prior and Vince Piggins and all of Fred Gibb's info including his vin list. http://www.competitionplus.com/2005_03_05/deuces.html |

Sad to report the new owner plans on having the car painted and installing a/c on it. This is an Original Paint car. This pains me.

I have tried to explain how truly rare the car is to the current owner; great original paint, original owner car, original drivetrain, interior, etc. It is truly one of only a few Yenko Camaros in this condition. The buyer appreciates the rarity and paid for it but I really hope it does not lose the originality that really makes it one of a kind. It would be a shame to see such a great original car completely restored.

This is disturbing. There were cheaper restored cars he could have purchased. I hate when the "wrong buyer" gets a special car. I am sick. |

WOW...that's like buying the MonaLisa and having some paint work done so she has short hair cause you prefer chics with short hair...yikes...this is like a whole new category of S................upercar If he wants a unique Supercar to install A/C on I'll offer him up my 1 of 1 COPO as trade....eeek.
