Can the Canadian paperwork decipher a car that was built elsewhere and imported into Canada, or can it authenticate a car that was only BUILT in Canada. If this car was built in Lansing and imported into Canada, it could be real. I have no gun in this fight, but my curiosity is roused a little.

American built cars such as my nova that were imported and sold new in Canada can be documented from George.

Any GM car sold in Canada, no matter where it was from will be verifiable. As long as someone didn't swap vins on the car, it should be good.
