The heavy duty F41 suspension that was included in the Chevelle Super Sport pckge.,was also possible as a separate option on any Big Block equipped Malibu......as in the LS-3 330Hp/402cid.

You could specify a non std.paint color & pay extra to special order it on nearly every vehicle GM model.

Working Cowl Ind. hoods were specific to Super Sports only.
That hood & that rearend are your best clues right now.
Hopefully dropping that tank will uncover an LS-6 buildsheet.
