I was looking at a car listed on eBay - not a great car but a decent big block Nova with what is claimed to be numbers matching and 54k original miles.
I was shocked to see the finishing details - talk about ruining what could be a good car. Could they have found a bigger set of bolts and why not just chrome plate them to stand out more? ![]() |

That is an easy fix, and another reason to cut'em off at the knees on price.

The mustang I just finished was the same way...basically had to replace all bolts/nuts, metric here and there, a lot of work. GTO I'm working on now looks like they "cut to fit" caddy door panels......pretty funny...
