I think the story goes like this:
That is the Yenko that was stolen and VIN tag removed.
A car using that VIN was sold out of state. Several years later, car moved from FL back to PA. But wait, the original car is still titled (with a state issued VIN tag) in PA. Oopsie. Court case ensues.
This is the repro tag from that ordeal....

Auction description:
"I was going through some stuff and found this 1969 camaro trim Tag in the toolbox.
It is a 1969 Camaro Cowl Data Trim Tag X11 LeMans Blue Code 71/ 711 Black Interior
It was removed years ago from a 1969 Camaro With LeMans Blue exterior and Black Standard Interior. I have a picture of the car before it was sold.
The car was a race car and got a aluminum firewall so no trim tag was needed."
