reminds me of the time we were down there and it rained and incredible amount over a few days flooded the roads and all the flood ditches were actually full of water to the point of overflowing everywhere......everyone said oooh aaawh you only see this once every 100 yrs with the desert plant life beautifully green......being from the NW we went down to dry out.

I see Phoenix area had a low of 39 degrees overnight with a high (so far) of 52 degrees. I'd gladly trade that for what we have and/or what we're about to get. But then again, I was stuck in a blizzard once on I75 in northern Florida back in 1989 so I know that does happen. When I finally got to Tampa they thought they were gonna freeze to death when the temperature dropped all the way down to 40. Since it was 17 below when I left Indy, I was ready for short sleeves and a light jacket. Carry on.....
