Firemist Caddy colors have more vivid metallics than non firemist. It's the way they mixed the laquer back then.
While I won't say never, I don't know that I've seen a -- special pnt application from a previous year that wasn't repeated during the production year run and then it probably wasn't a special pnt. For instance, Huggar orange was -- in 69 on Novas, RPO on 70s
I can't recall ever seeing it in reverse. Most times it's a cross brand, to a Caddy color that's why I believe it's NHG.
There's a purple 70 on SNS also a BB I believe that crosses over to a Caddy firemist color. I'd guess he may have wanted Mopar plum crazy, and this was the best they could offer. Don't know
